Letting Go of your Fear or Staying in Misery?
Are you staring at the mountain in fear again?
I know you want your business to take off so that you can finally have the freedom that you desire.
I know that because, at one time, I was you.
My ‘mountain’ looked like a scary, piling to-do list, full of tasks I didn’t want to do.
It looked like a bunch of zeros in my bank accounts, or very close to it.
It looked like something very complicated, when in fact what I was seeking was to simplify.
It looked like commitments that were about helping everyone else, but not helping me propel my business in a forward direction.
So yes, I get it.
What I eventually realized, after I had done ‘all the things’, took ‘all the classes’, and hired ‘all the coaches’, was that the same problems continued to exist.
My mountain that I was staring at was still way too big.
My world was still the same.
What I eventually realized was that it wasn’t a matter of paying for all the coaches and the courses, but it was a matter of buckling up, once and for all and trusting myself.
It was a matter of not making just any investment, but making the right investment.
It was a matter of choosing how to spend my energy and who I give my energy to.
It was a matter of letting go of the need to look for someone else to save me, but to know within my being, that I didn’t need saving.
Perhaps you are starting to realize that you also can’t go through life as you have been for the last 30, 40, maybe 50 years.
Perhaps you are starting to realize that it’s time to actually start climbing that mountain instead of stare at it.
